Lion Sandro Castellana, Past International Director

Sandro Castellana from Padova, Italy was elected to serve a two-year term as a Director of Lions Clubs International at the association’s 100th International Convention held in Chicago, Illinois USA July 2017.

Director Castellana is an IT consultant.

A member of the Abano Terme Euganee Lions Club since 1997, he has held many offices within the association, including Club President, District Governor, Zone Chair, Multiple District GLT Coordinator and GLT Area Leader.

In recognition of his service to the association, Director Castellana has received numerous awards, including three International President’s Awards and International President’s Certificates of Appreciation. He is also a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow. In addition to his Lions activities, Director Castellana has been active in professional and community organisations, including as vice president of the Italian Heart Transplant Association. 

Director Castellana’s wife Anna is also a Lion and Melvin Jones Fellow.
